Prague Castle is probably one of the citys most visited tourist attractions so be careful that you wont get totally squashed in the crowd. Prague Castle was originally built as a walled wooden fortress and has changed drastically over the years. It now consists of a royal palace, a cathedral, three churches, royal stable, some defensive towers, beautiful gardens and more. Not a bad place to live hang out, right?

Watch people at Wenceslas Square
A true gem in Pragues New Town (Nové Město). In the 14th century it was merely a horse market but now its one of Pragues highlights. The National Museum and other architectural buildings are located in this square, alongside a multitude of fine restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious meal while people watching.

We already briefly mentioned the clock, but it is so awesome that we think it deserves more. When this ancient “orloj” strikes the hour, the bells ring and you will see the 12 Apostles and other Gothic figures passing by the window above the astronomical dial.

Be bedazzled by The Dancing House “Ginger & Fred7998994816_8610ca04cb_z.jpg

This famous and artsy house has a very unusual shape. This shape reflects a woman: Ginger Rogers and a man: Fred Astair dancing together. All 99 of the concrete panels have a different shape and dimension making this building a unique piece of art among the city centre’s historic buildings. You can not really dance in there, but there is a great restaurant with a fantastic view.

Feel the love at The Lennon wall
If you are a Beatles fan, this wall is a must-see. It is covered in Beatles and Lennon graffiti, full of lyrics and drawings made by dedicated fans. Although John Lennon never visited Prague, this wall is a great memorial for those who saw him as a hero and want to honor him and his work.

Drink wine at Havlíčkovy Sady.
Although the name of this park is very difficult for us to pronounce, it is definitely worth the visit. The local name, Grebovka (much easier to pronounce) is located in the city center and offers long walks, picnic spots and a vineyard where you can glug wine. Ideal for a lazy sunday afternoon if you want to enjoy an amazing view while sipping wine.
